Anti-Bullying Ambassador Training
On Wednesday ten Year 5 children had a fantastic day at Plympton Academy. They attended a training event to begin their journey to become anti-bullying ambassadors. The training was provided by a charity called The Diana Award, which aims to inspire, promote and foster positive change in the lives of young people. Princess Diana believed that young people have the power to change the world and The Diana Award continues her legacy.
Our Year 5 children were taught great tips and ideas to enable them to support our school to ensure everyone feels safe and happy. By becoming an anti-bullying ambassador, the children have been inspired to work towards badges that promote respect, community action, wellbeing and online safety within our school community. The have returned to school with so much enthusiasm and are excited to make a real difference so that our school is safe and respectful for everyone.
