Maple Class have been busy writing sentences in both English and Science. In English they experimented with adding ‘and’ or ‘but’ to sentences and talked about how that changed the effect. In Science they looked at the different habitats around the world and found out some information that they recorded

In Art, Maple Class enjoyed drawing story backgrounds for their character to move through in their  concertina books. They remembered to use the mark making techniques that they had learnt. 

Maple Class have finished writing their bear fact files. Everyone has shown their writerly knowledge and used capital letters and full stops, paragraphs to show different parts of information and sub-headings.
